At the beginning of October, OTP, a company of Trans Polonia Group (formerly Orlen Transport), launched the first test courses on the order of Unimot. Test vehicles were used to transport biocomponents between terminals.
UNIMOT has in its offer. biofuel (B100), that is, biofuels produced on the basis of vegetable oils, intended for vehicles with a diesel engine. They can be used as spontaneous fuel or as a biocomponent in traditional diesel. The company acquires biofuels from domestic producers and exports them to other EU countries.
Biofuels are a renewable energy source, unlike fossil fuels such as: petroleum, natural gas, coal or nuclear fuel. Due to its properties, biofuels are increasingly being used in automotive.
Biofuels in Poland are based in 90%. on national raw materials. Increasingly, biofuels are said to be the next generation of fuels, which is why they enjoy the growth of OTP transport services in this segment of the market.
